A LITTLE BACKGROUND We're 2Brothers and we're not your average movers either... We (Adam & Jared) started helping our friends move with our little pick-up truck and decided to start a little business. With our dedication to great service (and the loyalty of our Craigslist customers) we've grown into a full-service moving company and we call it "2Brothers Moving & Delivery." Its a little weird talking in 3rd person, but "Adam" is a full-time student studying biology (minor in piano -- so yes, we know how to move pianos properly). "Jared" is currently an active duty helicopter crew chief (and no, we don't use helicopters for moving anything). So, whether you’re moving a commercial office, re-arranging stuff in your home, moving things from house to house, or taking all your possesions from one city or state to another — we can help! No job is too big or too small. OUR SERVICES • Full service moving (commercial & residential) • Furniture delivery • Piano moving • Labor only moves • Rental truck loading/unloading ...and (of course) more! Are you looking to move long distance? Even though we are a small local company, we now provide moving services nationwide. Call us for more details. OUR RATES Our rates are among the most competitive in town for professional movers: $82/hr Includes 2 professional movers and a 16'–26' truck (drive time is also charged by the hour). $55/hr Includes 2 movers without a truck (ie. Load/Unload/Packing/Labor Only) Add $30/hr for additional movers (more movers means a faster move!). A 2hr minimum is applied on all moves (except deliveries, which have a 1 hour minimum) There are NO charges for mileage within the metro area, no surcharges for flights of stairs, and no additional fees based on heavy items you may own (such as pianos or large pieces of furniture) period. (Unlike some other movers we know :) FREE ESTIMATES Do you want to save time on moving? Call us ahead of your move date and we'll come provide a free estimate including tips on what you can do to insure a smooth move. GOOD TO KNOW How long does it take to move? There are many factors that can affect the length of your move. Ease of access (such as stairs or entry locations); fragile items that require special handling; and of course, the amount of stuff you have! While everyone has specific needs, this is what we've found to be the average: 1 Bedroom/Studio – 2–3hrs. 2 Bedroom: 3–5hrs. 3 Bedroom: 4–6hrs. 4 Bedroom: 6–7hrs. (3–4 movers) 5 Bedroom: 7–9hrs. (4–5 movers) (all are within the metro area and do not include exterior sets of stairs) MOVING SUPPLIES Do you need boxes for your move? We provide discounted boxes with our packing services and offer an array of moving supplies at a reduced cost to our customers. TAPE TABOO Don't apply tape directly to polished or painted wood finishes. Removing the tape could ruin the surface. (tip #94) BREAKABLE DIGS Any furniture that is wooden, polished steel, or contains fragile components such as glass is required to be blanketed and wrapped prior to being moved in order to insure its’ safety. We’re happy to provide this service for you when we arrive at your home or office. (tip #16) FAT HEAVY BOXES Keep the weight of your boxes reasonable. If possible, put heavy items in small boxes to make them easier to carry. (tip #5) EMPTY YOUR DRAWERS Chests with drawers, portable closets, filing cabinets, and etc. are very difficult to move while full, so don’t forget to pack their contents! (tip #2) |
